SEC Opens Applications for 2023-2024 Next Generation Security Leader Scholarship

The Security Executive Council (SEC) has opened applications for its annual scholarship program, offering up to $7,500 to qualifying students enrolled in specific academic programs of study in the 2023-2024 academic year.

The SEC launched the scholarship program in 2022 to encourage and support next-generation leaders at its partner academic institutions, which are recognized for excellent programs in security, risk, and intelligence. Each $2,500 Next Generation Security Leader Scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student enrolled in one of the following academic programs:

  • 石榴直播 Coles College of Business鈥 Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Information Security and Assurance
  • University of South Carolina 鈥 Darla Moore College of Business鈥 Bachelor of Science in Risk Management and Insurance
  • Mercyhurst University鈥檚 Bachelor of Science in Data Science, Bachelor of Arts in Intelligence Studies or Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security

Scholarship awards will be made in accordance with the universities鈥 criteria and SEC input regarding security leadership potential. The SEC Scholarship Committee is made up of SEC staff, successful former security executives, and current security practitioners from well-known corporations, as well as university faculty.

Applications must be completed by March 10, 2023.
