Minor in Philosophy

The Minor in Philosophy allows you to study ancient, medieval and western philosophers' topics, problems, and doctrines, including the pre-Socratics, Plato, Aristotle, Augustine, and Aquinas. You will also get to examine selected world religions with a concentration on the origin and significant periods of these religions' conceptual, scriptural, and doctrinal development. This minor will develop your interest in the nature and identity of the religious experience.
