KC 317Christy Storey is the Director at the Burruss Institute. She received her B.S. Degree from Georgia College and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Georgia State University. She has been with the Institute since 1990 and is a native of Cobb County, Georgia. She has represented Kennesaw State and the Burruss Institute numerous times as a guest speaker at area civic organization meetings. She has been a member of area community committees including the Cherokee County Children and Youth Action Program, the Cobb County Customer Service Task Force, Neighborhood Cobb, Atlanta's VISION 2020 Transportation Committee and the Resource Development Committee of Cobb Senior Services. Her past experience includes employment at Cobb County Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs and the Transportation Studies Program in the School of Public Administration and Urban Studies at Georgia State University.

KC 619Anita Faust Berryman is a program evaluation professional and holds a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies with an emphasis in Research, Measurement, and Statistics, which, as a self-described late-bloomer, she earned in her late 40s following a bout with breast cancer. Within academia, she has been an integral part of many research projects including an equity evaluation of an urban school district and a large stakeholder assessment of a state agency. Prior to academia, she worked in private sector organizations ranging from a boutique accounting firm on Park Avenue in New York City to an international shipping company to Walt Disney World. Yes, Anita counts Mickey Mouse as a close personal friend. No, she did not wear a giant rubber head.
Anita hails from the Appalachian region of Virginia and is a first-generation college graduate. She is a passionate life-long learner, an out-of-the-box thinker, and brings creativity to her work. One of her work interests focuses on women鈥檚 rights and equity in areas such as, education, economic opportunity, and healthcare. Other work interests include educational equity as evidenced by student learning opportunities and outcomes, particularly for learners in economically disadvantaged areas.

KC 325Ms. Ashley Feierstein is a Public Service Research Associate at the Burruss Institute. She has served in various positions within the Burruss Institute during her 17 years at 石榴直播. She holds her B.S. in Psychology, with a minor in Criminology. Ms. Feierstein has extensive experience working in program evaluation in the public health sector, particularly in risk-reduction programming and education. Her primary responsibilities and skills include project management, evaluation planning, data analysis, preparation of reports to grant funders, grant writing, logic model preparation, and online survey design. Outside of work, she enjoys doing yoga, exploring nature, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband and their three dogs.

KC 314Akilah Hairston is a Research Associate at the Burruss Institute. She is a graduate of the University of West Georgia where she earned a B.S in sociology, M.A in Sociology, and was inducted into the Honor societies Phi Kappa Phi and Alpha Kappa Delta. She began working with the Institute as a research intern in May 2018. After completing her M.A. Akilah joined the Institute staff in July 2019 working on evaluation projects (primarily in substance abuse prevention and education). Some of her tasks on the evaluation team include conducting site visits, conducting data analysis, assisting in the authoring of the formative and summative evaluation reports, and assisting with evaluation planning.
