Online MBA listed among top 20, engineering and information technology ranked in the top 100 nationally
Kennesaw State’s Master of Business Administration program ranked among the top 20 in the nation in the 2018 U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs. The annual rankings, released today, evaluated 1,490 online degree programs in eight categories.
The MBA program in the Michael J. Coles College of Business climbed two spots in the ranking to No. 19 this year, still earning it the top spot for online MBA programs among Georgia colleges and universities. In its second consecutive year in the top 25, the program was among 267 online business programs ranked.
“We are excited to see our online MBA program recognized as a Top 20 program in the nation,” said Kathy Schwaig, dean of the Coles College of Business. “The ranking reflects the outstanding achievements of our committed students, talented faculty, and devoted MBA leadership and staff. Other ʯֱ programs recognized by the publication include the Master of Science in Nursing, eight master’s degree programs in education, and the University’s online bachelor’s degree programs.

Now in its seventh year, the U.S. News & World Report rankings assess degree-granting programs that offer 100-percent online classes. At Kennesaw State, more than 7,000 students take online courses each year, with students earning their bachelor’s, master’s, specialist and doctoral degrees without ever coming to campus. ʯֱ offers 20 fully online master’s degree programs, 12 bachelor’s degree programs, four specialist degree programs and two doctoral programs.
