Kennesaw State鈥檚 will host the fall edition of its Symposium of Student Scholars as a hybrid event 鈥 in-person on the Marietta Campus, online through Microsoft Teams, and as pre-recorded videos posted online in Digital Commons.

鈥淭he quality of work on display at this fall's symposium is impressive, having increased from last fall in the number of participants, projects, and mentors made up of faculty and postdoctoral researchers,鈥 said Amy Buddie, director of undergraduate research and symposium organizer. 鈥淭hese students are conducting cutting-edge research and gaining hands-on experience in their fields of interest, embodying 石榴直播's mission to be a student-centered, research-driven, R2 university.鈥

The concurrent sessions will take place on Nov. 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. For the on-campus portion, posters will be held in the Gymnasium, and oral presentations and performances will be held in classrooms in the Atrium Building and the W. Clair Harris Textile Center. Virtual presentations will occur via Microsoft Teams, and pre-recorded videos will be posted online in Digital Commons.

The symposium, which is free and open to the public, will also feature career preparation workshops and a reception, followed by an awards ceremony at 5 p.m. There will be prizes for the top presentations by undergraduate and graduate researchers, and catering will be provided throughout the day in the Gymnasium.
