Undergraduate Research in Study Abroad

Undergraduate research and education abroad experiences are two high-impact practices that have a transformative effect on students (Kuh, 2008) and that contribute to 石榴直播's R2 Roadmap. The Office of Undergraduate Research and the Office of Global Education are pleased to announce a new partnership designed to facilitate undergraduate research in education abroad programs at 石榴直播.

Global Education will fund at least three awards of up to $5,000 for faculty-led education abroad programs that incorporate research approved by the Office of Undergraduate Research. These awards are meant to help cover faculty expenses to reduce the overall cost of the program and make the program more affordable for students. Additional funds for the research, if necessary, can be obtained through the URCA program in the Office of Undergraduate Research.
