Welcome
On behalf of the Faculty and Staff of the College of Computing and Software Engineering at 石榴直播, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our college. Our goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of others through computing. We do that through education, research, engagement with industry, and active community outreach. We want computing to empower people and use it for social good.
Over the last four decades, I have been fortunate to see the development and adoption of innovative technology into mainstream society. We can hardly imagine living a day without the Internet, smartphones, or (for some of you) video games. There is an ever-increasing demand for professionals as computing is a continuously evolving discipline 鈥� and it is one that is just as exciting and life changing today as in the past.
To that end, our college offers high-quality academic programs in Computer Science, Data Science and Analytics, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Game Design and Development at the undergraduate, masters and doctoral levels.
Our faculty are research active and offer expertise in a wide range of areas. Whether you are a new student, a career-changing student, or a seasoned veteran, CCSE has a pathway for you to obtain a cutting-edge education that meets the needs of the 21st century.
If you are a new student, thank you for choosing us! I would ask that you learn everything you can while you are here and, importantly, engage with us. We have an amazing number of opportunities for you, such as working with our industry partners or conducting research with our faculty.
