Welcome to Wellstar School of Nursing

Welcome to the Wellstar School of Nursing, the largest nursing program in north Georgia. We offer baccalaureate degrees, and master's degrees, and have an accelerated track for students with degrees in other fields. Our graduates consistently perform above the national average on the state licensing exam and our nurse practitioner graduates have a high pass rate on the certification exam.

Computer-based Learning Modules

Through funding from the Georgia Board of Health Care Workforce, the Wellstar School of Nursing developed four computer-based learning modules for Preceptors, Clinical Instructors, & Unit Managers. The modules are available free of charge to Schools of Nursing and health care agencies at the links below.

The Nursing Education Essentials module introduces current trends in nursing clinical education and should be viewed by all roles. The other three modules provide education specific to preceptors, nurse managers, or clinical instructors. For questions, please contact Christie Emerson (cemerson@kennesaw.edu).

Your tour of the Wellstar School of Nursing includes a 10-minute information session that covers topics ranging from programs, admission requirements, and where to take Nursing. The information session will be followed by a 20-minute walking tour of the state-of-the-art building. Come along to get a closer look into what it's like to be a nursing student at Kennesaw.
