CCSE is dedicated to the academic success and persistence of its students by taking a student-centered approach as the foundation of our understanding and basis of serving the diverse needs of those studying in our programs. The mission of this mentoring program is to develop and improve the community of individuals connected with CCSE, and provide ample opportunities for our students to learn and grow from their peers and those working in the computing industry.

By participating as a mentor or mentee in this program, you can become better informed about your own skills, CCSE, 石榴直播, campus resources and support services, and opportunities for academic and career excellence.

Additional Information

    • You will be asked to engage with your partnered mentor/mentee for at least 1 semester. You can keep the same mentor/mentee until graduation if you wish.
    • That depends on how engaged you wish to be and the role you have. Professional mentors are expected to engage with their mentee at least twice a semester, for at least an hour each time.

Peer mentors are expected to be a little more involved, at least checking in and communicating with their mentee once a week. This can be done via text, phone call, online chat, meeting in person, etc.

  • If you are matched with a professional mentor, please be aware that they may not be able to respond to you very quickly due to professional and personal obligations. We recommend that you give them at least 1 week to respond to you before reaching out to us about the situation.

You may send an email to amcclur6@kennesaw.edu to discuss how to proceed.
